Industry Sector Studies

Industry Sector Studies examine developments or impacts on specific activities or sectors that influence the tourism industry.

  • RV Camping in Alberta

In 2009, a study—in collaboration with Alberta Hotel and Lodging Association and the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association of Alberta—looked at Alberta's recreational vehicle (RV) campground sector.

The study assesses the supply and demand of RV campgrounds, opportunities to offer more services and facilities and ways to build a stronger RV camping sector.

Development Opportunities Studies

This project created development plans for Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park and Dinosaur Provincial Park and surrounding areas.
