Programs that assist Indigenous tourism entrepreneurs.

Tourism Division partners with the Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada (ATAC) which supports the growth of Aboriginal tourism in Canada and addresses the demand for development and marketing of authentic Aboriginal experiences.

One-on-One Business Coaching and Advisory Support

In addition, we provide business coaching services to new entrepreneurs and existing tourism operators wanting to enhance or innovate their tourism product. Some of these services include:

  • Business Plan Development and Review Service
    One-on-one discussions with a staff member to help develop and hone your tourism business plan.

  • Financial and Regulatory Path-finding Support
    We help your business access capital, handle regulatory approvals, and permit processes for tourism business development.

  • Research and Statistics
    Our team can help with market research for your tourism business. This includes provincial tourism research and statistical reports as well as third party market research resources.
