Alberta Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with Newell Regional Tourism Association, is excited to bring the 2017 AVIP Conference to southeast Alberta.

The AVIP Conference is an annual two-day event that brings together visitor services managers, supervisors, and representatives from across Alberta to explore new topics and trends, share ideas, and strengthen the network of the AVIP Community.

This year’s theme, “Cultivating Growth and Innovation” focuses on incorporating new tools and approach in diversifying visitor service delivery to grow tourism in the community.

Delegates can look forward to engaging breakout sessions, a dynamic keynote presentation and exciting pre-conference activities. The AVIP Conference is also hosted in conjunction with the AMMY Awards Gala, which celebrates the outstanding achievements of visitor service providers in the areas of visitor services and individual excellence.

Registration is free for Alberta community, regional, and provincial visitor service providers (VIC, mobile/roaming, and/or online). Participants will only be responsible for their travel cost to the event and meals outside of the conference.
